Interrupted momentum
While the friction was enough to bring the weight of the world to a screeching halt, it did not stop. On it went only delayed for a moment so short only a keen observer would consider to remark. The weight of the world was, of course, supposed to be heavy after all it contained all things. After all things were combined to create the weight of the world it was then free from the confines of relativity, and off it went.
