Sunrise, Sunrise, looks like morning in your eyes...

but the clock's held 9:15 for hours.

-Made a trip to BestBuy this weekend and stocked up on a few cd's. Got the new Norah. exquisite. The first few notes of the bass just makes me smile. I'm making my kids listen to it now. Also got No Doubt's singles, Bjork's Post, and rebought John Mayer's Heavier Things. I lost the last one in moving. I don't know why, i just felt the need to get some female artists. i never listen to female singers, but it's nice.

-Also went over to Barnes and Noble while i was in the area. i loooooove books. i love bookstores. they make me blissfully happy. nerdy huh? i'd LOVE to own a bookstore some day. Brookhaven needs one. we reeeally don't have one. if i thought it could make it here, i'd try to open one. but you never know about things like that around here.

anyway, my purchases were: How to Breathe Underwater by Julie Orringer , which i started reading last night. it's a collection of short stories, which i love. i've read 3 or 4 already, and i love them. a definite recommend. the one called The Isabel Fish made me cry. I wanted to hug Maddy so bad. I get way too involved in books. But gah, it was good.
also picked up Lolita by Vladimir Nabokov, which i've been meaning to read for some time now. brian recommended it to me once and since grapes of wrath is his favorite book, i'm willing to trust his literary taste.
i grabbed a couple of random fictions...Tiny One by Eliza Minot and In Her Shoes by Jennifer Weiner. Must've sucked for her in school.

-I'm so ready for Spring Break. Cliff, Angela, and i are going to chris's in texas. sunday through thursday. ought to be fun. especially if the boys are getting along. haha

have a good monday everyone.
