No working title for it yet.

Summary: Jubilee gets into more than she can handle wihtout her even doing anything. All alone she needs to find a way to manage, but Sinister comes to her aid.

Chapter One

Jubilee woke slowly her body semi shivering slightly. Her brain was very muddled and she could only remember vague images and shapes from the last day or two. The last thing she remembered was being down in Beasts’ lab. He asked her to look at something, she turned her back and a needle plunged in her neck. Moving one arm and rubbing her eyes seemed to help her focus a little bit. That was good, very good. If she could focus, she could leave wherever the hell she was.

‘OK. Find out what your laying on, and then go from there girl.’ She thought to herself closing her eyes again. Unfortunately whatever was in her system was trying to make her fall asleep again. Gods how long did the stuff last, and how powerful a dose did he give me. She tried to climb off of what she was on; find a bathroom, something. An arm held her in place. Maybe she was sick at the mansion; yeah that’s it. She just dreamed the needle, and got sick, so someone was making sure she was ok and fell asleep like her.

At least now she knew what she was on. An extremely comfortable bed, how she didn’t notice a soft pillow under her cheek, Jubilee would never know. So soft, if she just closed her eyes for a little while. No, no, no she had to figure out where she was. Whose arm was this? That would give her a clue at least. She turned her head slightly gazing at the arm around her waist. Very hairy, looked like fur kinda, and blonde. Who did she know with blonde Fur? Free hand moved down and traced part of the arm lightly with her fingers. A very male grunt; then the arm twitched and moved down around her hips instead.

“Knock it off, frail.” Jubilee heard Creed mumble, felt his breathe against her neck. Oh gods what was she doing sleeping in a bed with Sabretooth?! Him talking just made her try to struggle away from him, and Creed sighed tightening his arm and pulling her against him. “You don’t knock it off, and I’m telling Sinister to tie you to a table like he originally planned before he put you in here.”

“Why.” She mumbled her lips heavy. “Why in here?”

“Heh how well do you think Wolverine would act if he saw his little sidekick locked on the table in the same room as him. Oh no, little Jubey, he gotta wonder where the hell you’re at, and if anything he does could cause Essex to bring your dead carcass in the room because of it.” Sabretooth told her grinning, and pressing his face against her neck. Jubilee shuddered and tried to pull away, which made him to tighten his arm even more. Blinking she gasped trying to keep herself awake. She wasn’t going to fall back asleep with this monster in the room. “Go to sleep, frail. I’m supposed to make sure you don’t leave and that was all. You’re gonna give yourself a heart attack if you don’t calm down.”

“Yeah, right. I’m like soon going to relax when you have an arm wrapped around me. Leave and I just might.” She retorted sarcastically, pushing at the arm back around her waist. She squeaked as his as his arm moved back down onto her hips.

“I could always move it lower. Now shut up.” He hissed in her ear while gripping her hip tightly with one hand guaranteeing her a bruise later. Jubilee gulped and tried to freeze, but nature didn’t let her sit still for long.
“ Hey, Creed?”

“What?!” he snarled flipping her onto her back and looming over her.

“I need to use the bathroom.” Jubilee whispered trying to sink down in the mattress. Groaning Creed let his head fall onto her stomach making her eyes go even wider. Whimpering she clamped her mouth shut and clenched her hands in the blanket. Snorting Creed stood up and lifted her into his arms taking her over to the bathroom. Struggling yet again Jubilee jumped out of his arms then raced inside the bathroom. Hearing the retching Sabretooth scrunched his nose and shut the door so he at least didn’t have to smell it.

“Apparently Mr. McCoy gave her too strong a dose wouldn’t you say, Mr. Creed.” Essex said watching from a corner where he had sat unnoticed the entire time. The girl had woken up and been groggy a few times before, and now had been when she should have actually fully woken up. He was so pleased to always be right.

“Yeah. If I have to put up with this, you can find someone else to baby-sit the kid.” Creed told him angrily. He didn’t put up with his own kid at all, let alone watch a sick one that didn’t belong to him.

“I’m not a kid!” Jubilee screeched from behind the door.

“Compared to me you are, now shut up!” Creed hollered slamming his fists against the door. From inside, Jubilee watched the door shudder, and grimaced. Least in here she could be away from that idiot. Pushing herself to her feet she sat on the edge of the bathtub and ran some cold water. Very happily she thrust her head under it soaking her hair and face before shutting it off and sitting back up. Her head felt much clearer, and her stomach a lot emptier now. Frowning she tried to listen to the mumble of voices out in the other room, but all she heard was a familiar laugh. She had heard it right before Beast stuck her with that needle, but it didn’t sound like any Hank she knew.

Jubilee crept to the door and tried to listen, but Creed had apparently heard her and decided to open the bathroom door at that moment. Unfortunately it opened outwards instead of in. Gasping Jubilee fell forward on all fours before snapping her head up as she heard that laugh again. Shaking her head slightly she scuttled back against the doorway staring at Sinister.

“What have you done…?” She whispered partly to herself not meaning to speak out loud. Sinister grinned and gave her a contemplative look before turning back to Creed.

“Do you suppose she’s talking to me?” he asked half joking. He highly doubted seeing him would break her, although waking up in Sabretooth’s arms could very well have. Essex stood up and stepped fully into the light walking over to Jubilee. Pulling out the collar he had brought with him he knelt down in front of her reaching out to lift her head up. Gasping she pulled away glaring at him hatefully. Trying to move further away as he reached for her again, she shook her head rapidly spraying him with water droplets. Of course, Jubilee noticed it also made the room spin and her body go kind of floating off without her. Groaning she tried to paff him, her face falling as she realized whatever Beast had given her weakened her enough to make it impossible to use her powers. That collar, the one she felt snap onto her neck, it blocked mutant powers as well.

“Bring her.” Essex told Creed while standing up and wiping the water off his face. That could have become rather annoying if her powers weren’t worn out right now. Sinister turned away after a last glance walking toward the door. Creed reached down and lifted Jubilee up in his arms, tempted too just through her over his shoulder, but if the way she gulped and wrapped her arms around his neck was any indication, he would have just had to switch it to this way and end up reeking like the bathroom does. Shivering Jubilee looked up at Creed through half shut eyes. Figuring he’d be the lesser evil she gave up and buried her head in his neck and tightened her arms slightly around his neck. He almost even smelled like Wolverine making her relax totally against him as the drug pulled at her once more.

After walking for a while, Essex turned and looked at them. The X-men were through this door. At this moment though, more importantly, Wolverine was through this door. Seeing his young sidekick in the arms of his worst enemy, especially curled up and clinging to him like she was, would slice through him the way his claws sliced through his enemies. Perhaps she could be of more use than he originally thought. Essex stared at the two pondering some possibilities. And then one stood out to him making his red eyes glow brighter, and his cruel mouth show its pointed teeth in a smile.

Sabretooth stopped and gave Sinister a wary look. When Essex had that smile on his face it never bodes well for anyone, even the people working for him. Watching him with narrow eyes, Sabretooth tightened his arms around Jubilee unconsciously. Sinister chuckled at this, and reached one hand out to lightly touch Jubilee’s dark hair. So tightly in the drugs hold, Jubilee didn’t even notice except to squirm slightly and curl tighter against Creed’s chest.
“Very useful indeed.” Sinister said to himself not bothering to pay attention to Creed. Smiling slightly he turned and opened the door to the next room.
