You know when product placement goes too far?
When there's product placement in advertisements.
I don't mean advertising the product you're supposed to advertise, of course.
I just thought, because a moment ago there was an ad that came on advertising a bed company.
But at one point in the ad this woman was running with what I'm 99% sure was a Costa Coffee take-out cup. Seriously, it looked exactly like it, same colour, logo, everything.
I seriously thought it was an ad for Costa Coffee until the mention of buying beds from this company popped up at the end.
It didn't help that straight after the running-with-coffee scene there was another scene of a woman in a coffee shop with an empty cup of coffee.
