"It's not that hard," Cutter jostled. "Just pick the odd one out."
Stephen stabbed his finger at the iPad, hitting one of the garishly drawn pictures at random.
A flashing red 'X' told him, he'd got it wrong.
"I don't want to play any more stupid fucking games," he snapped.
"Aye... alright," Cutter said softly. "Do... you want me to go?"
Stephen sighed. "No... I'm sorry..."
Cutter was trying. They both were, after Stephen's brush with death. But being stuck in a hospital bed was so frustrating...
"I could read to you?" Cutter offered carefully.
Stephen smiled. "I'd like that."
