Well, there are people here from my world but the future. They've suffered a complete personality change because of it. Then there's the other rumors I've heard of -- people that are countries, people that are vampires, people that can use magic, etc etc. I haven't met many yet but I'd like to.

I can confirm all of those rumours. I've been here for long enough that I have met many of the ones you speak of. Though they did not always match up to my expectations.
