BIGBANG '10: artwork for 'Write Your Name All Over My Paper Heart' by toxica939
Alrighty it's BigBang time again and this is my second/final spn_j2_bigbang art post of the summer.
I've been really lucky this year when it comes to picking the stories that I wanted to do artwork for, both stories this year have been written by people that I've considered friends for years. This time around it's toxica939 (who is absolutely fabulous and will sporadically write me fic with a pairing that nobody else will write for me *lol*) and her J2 high school AU story ' Write Your Name All Over My Paper Heart'.
It was really great to be able to work with Vic, because we actually have a bit of a history together, her surfer!boys 'verse was one of the very first fics that I ever actually made any type of graphics for, it's kind of like we've come full circle now and that's really cool in my opinion. Another thing I loved about getting this story to work with is because it's a part of the 'Jack 'verse' and I LOVE the 'Jack 'verse' so damn much! I was seriously geeked out over being able to read this story before anyone else got the chance to, and then I got to make 'pretties' for it too, so bonus! *lol*
OK, enough rambling here's the story summary followed by the artwork/graphics:
Highschool AU: Jensen's approaching this thing with Jared the same way he's handling senior year: with a healthy dose of cynicism and a razor sharp tongue. A few fumbled kisses don't make Jared his boyfriend, the same way acing bio doesn't make him a doctor. Except Jared doesn't seem to be pretending it never happened quite the way Jensen expected him to and his mom's got college brochures all over the house. Jensen's carefully constructed island life is tilting faster than he's prepared for. Into something new, something better. Man up Jack, we're just getting started.
