BIGBANG '10: artwork for 'Celebrity Skin' by engel82
It's spn_j2_bigbang time again!! I always get so anxious when it's time to post anything BigBang related, but this year I'm feeling really confident and a bit at ease because I love the story that this artwork goes along with and I had such an amazing time collaborating with engel82 who wrote it. From random emails to long rambling comments here on LJ to crazy tweets and multiple DMs on twitter and even two different train rides where we got to actually talk about the story and the artwork in person, everything about the experience this year has been amazing. I love that everything I thought of doing was something that Engel liked and was thinking of, and that things she really wanted done, were things that I immediately thought of doing when I first read the rough draft she sent me. Engel has become a great friend these last few months and I'm so damn happy that I got to work with her on this collaboration...we meshed so well together while working on this, and that's really nice after year.
Anyways, enough rambling here's the story summary followed by what I hope are some 'pretties':
After getting outed on national TV 6 months ago, Jensen Ackles, son of the Ackles’ Records owner, went under the radar while trying to deal with his parents’ constant fighting, and attempting to keep it together for the sake of his little sister.
When his best friend contacts Jensen to announce he’ll be returning from NYU in less than a month, Jensen decides to get his life back, and returns to playing Hollywood’s dirty game. Then Jensen’s life takes a turn for the worst, where he can’t tell the difference between friends and enemies… until Jared comes into his life and helps him find his way again.
But just when Jensen begins to realize he wants and deserves the kind of life he thought was out of reach, tragedy strikes the Padalecki family, pushing Jensen to leave behind everything that matters to him.
