Driving Lessons [THMNY]
Once upon a time, John'd have given anything to have everyone there with him on his journey. Recently, though - things had been tense. Kelly'd looked a little shaken over nothing whatsoever. Worlds were few and far between.
It wasn't a good time to be aboard that ship. It felt smaller now than it ever had done in the past.
To pass the time, Cortana'd decided to try and make a decent pilot out of him; though he'd gotten the basics down, complex manouevres were still far out of his reach. He sat at the controls, looking out the cockpit at the vista. Once he'd have thought it beautiful; now, mundane. What he wouldn't give, right now, for a walk on solid ground... a real world under his feet...
But at least this was something different. It'd have to do.
