Last night's party was intense. I had an excellent time, even if I had a hard time keeping it together at the end. People gave me cute gifts, and the card from Hélène and Yann is adorable. Elle est love de moi, c'est génial. The one bad thing, though, was that Julie H couldn't make it because she's in the hospital due to stomach problems. She's going to be okay, I think, but I wish I'd gotten the chance to see her before leaving for America.
Oh, speaking of that, I board a plane in around 14 hours.
Bags are packed. Time to wait for Xavier to get home and spend a lovely evening together. One that, I hope, will feel like just another night at our 7th-floor apartment.
