Yeah. He's a white court vampire, it's just what they do...more or less.

There's vampires, and they're divided into different courts or types. Red Court suck blood but they should be extinct now...at least where I'm from. Black Court is the living-dead kind that you're more familiar with in mythology...the kind that are weak to sunlight and garlic and all that.

White Court feed off of life energy. They draw from different sources. Thomas feeds off of the energy produced from lust or sex. There are others of his kind that feed off of fear or despair.

Umm...I've never heard of a vampire before. They sound...awful!

But...Thomas isn't awful. He's...nice.

That's the glamor/appeal talking. Well, that's not to say Thomas isn't a nice guy sometimes...but that's mostly to lure you to him.

He's just not the same after that stuff on the island.
