1~1
Seungho has ha d the displeasure of experiencing Joon’s tears three times since they started living together as MBLAQ. He doesn’t count the times where Mir’s farts smelt too bad and everyone in the vicinity started to tear up, or when Joon attempts to help G.O cook and chop onions.
The first time Joon cried was when they went back stage after one of their first performances.
“Hyung, how do you thing we did? Do you think they liked us?” His question weren’t more than a whisper and Seungho had to strain in order to hear him over the backstage crew moving chords, lights, etc.
“I think we did great!” Seungho said excitedly. “Didn’t you hear all the-” When Seungho looked at Joon, he saw tears falling slowly from his eyes, down his cheeks and through the holes of his stage clothes.
“I hope they liked us and we didn’t fail Jihoon hyung.”
Seungho grabbed his arm to make Joon turn and look at him. He used his thumbs to wipe away the tears and hugged him after.
“We couldn’t have failed. The fans were screaming way too loud.”

The second time, Seungho doesn’t know if he should count or not, but since Joon was extremely disappointed, it seemed to count plenty. It was the day Joon’s hamster died.
He had named his hamster Mir. The first thing that came to Seungho’s mind when he heard the name was ‘I can’t believe they’re that close.’ He couldn’t help but feel jealous, because you’d name something precious to you after someone you liked right? When Seungho confronted Joon about the name, he told him it’s because the hamster stinks almost as much as Mir’s farts when he forgets to clean the cage. This surprisingly made Seungho feel a lot better.
Joon kept it in the closet so Jihoon wouldn’t find out and take it away. Surprisingly he succeeded in ‘ninja-ing’ hamster food into the dorm.
Seungho was still in the practice room when he received the distressing phone call. Joon was forced to stay home because they didn’t want his vomit all over the practice room floor.
“Hyung, I think I killed Mir!” A sniffling Joon was heard on the other line of the cell phone.
“What are you talking about? I see Mir and he’s drinking water right now.” Seungho had replied a bit annoyed, considering all the dance practice he had just put in. He was tired and didn’t feel like putting up with anything, even Lee Joon.
“No hyung! MIR. The one I keep in my closet.”
“Oh, that Mir. He’s probably sleeping, just leave him alone.” Seungho sighed.
More sniffling was heard, “But hyung, Mir’s not moving and when I tried to pick him up he was really stiff.”
“Oh god. Joon wash your hands and don’t touch Mir anymore!” Seungho yelled and slapped his cell phone shut. He grabbed his sweater, putting it over his white wife-beater and ran out the door.
On the other side of the practice room, there stood three MBLAQ members and one immensely confused Jihoon.
When Seungho arrived at the dorm, Joon sat on the couch, knees to chest with his head resting on them; the T.V was on, playing re-runs of Hamtaro. The other thing Seungho couldn’t help but notice was Joon’s watery eyes with tears threatening to fall any second.
When Seungho slammed the door shut, Joon’s head snapped up in order to see who the intruder was, Realizing it was Seungho, he finally let his tears fall and ran to him for a bone-crushing yet comforting hug.
“Stop crying it’s not your fault.” Seungho smoothed Joon’s hair, simultaneously pulling him closer. “c’mon, let’s go give Mir a proper burial.”
And so they both went outside to the park that was only a block away -since their yard was nonexistent- and buried Mir the hamster. When Jihoon saw Seungho again, he made him do 50 push-ups for leaving during practice and not telling him why.

The third time, In Seungho’s opinion, was a very, very good thing. It was the day he finally got Joon to confess. It was a big surprise to both of them.
When all of the other members had gone to bed, Seungho stayed up and made sure all food was put away, the doors were locked, and all windows were closed and locked. Just as he was walking toward his room, he heard a rustle and what sounding like a sob, coming from the restroom. Curious, Seugnho walked over to the door and put his ear next to it. A hic-up and small sound was heard from within.
Seungho opened the door, which was surprisingly unlocked, to reveal a slumped over Joon sitting on the tile floor leaning against the cold wall. He was curled in a ball hiding his face in his hands, not even realizing someone had entered.
Seungho sighed and sat next to Joon and put an arm around his shoulders. Only then did Joon look up and him. This if possible, just made him cry even more and try to push Seungho away. Seungho recoiled, feeling rejected and hurt.
“You should go to sleep hyung.” Joon replied and gently pushed Seungho towards the bathroom door.
“You should stop crying.” Seungho replied nonchalantly and grabbed Joon’s hand he was using to push Seungho away, holding it in between his. “Do you want to talk about it?”
“Do you care?”
“Of course I do.” Seungho let his lips form a pout.
“I think I-I might be in love.” Joon stuttered
“I don’t see what the problem is.” Seungho said ignoring the tug on his heart.
“It-It’s one of the MBLAQ members.” Joon said looking away and pulling his hand from Seungho’s.
That’s what did it. Seungho took the hand retreating as a hint that it definitely wasn’t him. Suddenly he felt the tug on his heart turn in to a black hole and swallow him up. It took every ounce of strength from Seungho to not leave the room and hide in a corner for the rest of his life.
Hesitantly he asked, “Do you want to talk about it. Vent to me. That’s what I’m here for.” Apparently that’s all I’m here for Seungho thought to himself. He’d never be able to snuggle with Joon or give him chaste kisses good night. Nothing.
“What would you do hyung? I mean, if you were in my situation…”
“I’d just tell him. I mean, who wouldn’t love you? You’re the Lee Joon.” Seungho scoffed and turned to glare at the wall. He suddenly wished he’d never come in the restroom. Curiosity killed the cat, or in this case; Seungho’s heart.
“Hyung…”
“Yes?” Seungho sighed and looked at the now-so-interesting-tile of the bathroom floor.
“I-I think I love you.”
Seungho’s head shot up at the sudden confession and he just stared into the brown orbs of Lee Joon.
Joon stared back at him waiting for a reaction and expecting it to either be joy or hatred but got neither.
“Just forget I said anything.” Joon made a move to leave but Seungho snapped out of his trance and grabbed his arm.
Seungho forced Joon to face him and smiled. He used his thumbs to wipe the tear tracks on Joon’s cheeks. But instead of bringing Joon into a hug as usual, Seungho brought his face closer and placed a chaste kiss on Joon’s lips.
“I love you too.”
Hopefully this would be the last time Seungho would have to experience the tears of Joon. Whether they’re happy or sad tears, a smile always looks better in Seungho’s opinion.
