last week i gave you my heart
SO! last week was pretty eventful!
monday: went to job hunting with vivian at the mall :p we picked up applications from a lot of stores. thank goodness for vivian being brave HAHA! i finally had guts to ask myself for applications but yeahhh. not a lot of places were hiring... they were only accepting apps. i picked apps from aeropostale, wet seal, nautica, claire's, and kohl's, but vivian got a few more cuz she's 18 for their age requirement T_T!
i can't remember what i did tues- wed LOL...
thurs: went to CALIFORNIA ACADEMY OF SCIENCES with my cousin and parents! omg i was SOO excited!! i absolutely loved it. i think this is disneyland for me especially since i love learning about nature; i am indeed the nerd. (yes bugs scare me, but i find them fascninating when they don't fly in my face and scare me haha.) we went to the steinhart aquarium, and it was FANTASTIC! i took billions of pictures of the fishes. i think my favorite were the snapping turtles!! i seriously thought they fake since they looked like miniature dinosaurs.. but wow!! :O i also took a really good shot of anemones but i'll upload pics later since photobucket is being stupid
after the aquarium, we ate lunch at the cafe... but after eating overpriced sandwiches we walked and spotted the REAL restaurant/cafe.. with a lot more seats. CRAP! oh well good sandwiches ;P
yeah so we looked around the other exhibits. one showcased global warming T_T sorry!! the other one was about natural history which was really cool how they made the animals look so real. they also had a penguin exhibit.. kinda reminded me of happy feet rofl.

friday: went to the mall again to turn in applications with vivian and joanne. basically most of the stores just took our application papers and tossed them aside.. :| but the manager at nautica said he might be holding interviews this week if there's any more positions available. so woah! there's some hope! at least he was kind enough to acknowledge our applications haha.
after that, we bought our transformers movie ticket and went to go get some lunch. i wanted a corndog (stfu) so i went to hot dog on the stick. so i ordered a corndog and asked for a cup of water because i am a cheap asian... but the worker is just. really awkard. and considering that i'm an extremely awkward person myself, it was... extremely ... (again going to use the term) AWKWARD. lol. i don't want to go into details HAHA! but ask joanne if you're curious.
we watched transformers and it was pretty awesome. well i didn't like a lot of parts that didn't include the robots, but everything robot related was awesome. alright, i digress but i was taking a facebook quiz and if i were to be a transformer, i would be megatron. WOO!
then after we met up with khang and david to go buy kathy a present and yeah... blahblah
saturday: kathy's birthday party! it was nice seeing everyone again. that was probably seeing certain high school classmates lol :( but yeah it was pretty fun. we played rockband, and i think we got a little too much into pictionary and spoon. the cake was fancy and decorative like a wedding cake! :O
sunday: with my aunt, uncle, younger cousin, sisters, and mom (wow that's a lot of people now that i've typed this all out), we all went to the appointment we made to see this vietnamese lady to see if she could do makeup for my sister's wedding. the place is located in her house, but the house had A/C, a good thing for the 100+ degree weather! :O yeah so at first when looking at her older albums, the makeup on the brides were a little too.. 80's vietnamese.. LOLOLOL or chinese or whatever. but the second album had more youthful brides sporting more modern and elegant makeup.
after visiting this makeup artist, we went to our next appointment with another vietnamese makeup artist... she didn't seem as good considering her portfolio had girls wearing uhhhh interesting non-waterproof makeup... and the fact that she couldn't speak english at all.
SOO yeah. it was hot. it's still hot. my sisters, cousin, and i went to a place called Yogurt Twist. the yogurt was pretty delicious... :D yum!
wow i just realized i typed so much. i'm too lazy to proofread so if you spot any errors or something that just sounds completely wrong please ignore it.
p.s.: I LOVE SNSD'S NEW SONG! even though their mv... is... uhh
and i give up on trying to cut this... just deal with the bad cuts lol.
