italy was fuckign sweet. rome is the most beautiful city that i have ever seen. the hostel kind of fucking sucked. i had some amazing gnocci and great pizza. touring the colliseum and the ceasars palaces is fucking awe-inspiring. just knowing the pure idea of imperialism and modern civiliztion was perfected right there. it was intense. we even got a discount on the tour cuz the dude who booked us was from baltimore! i have beautiful pictures to post when i get back state-side. i miss my dog more every day. i'm feeling alot better now, i still can't wait to get home! i finished women by bukowski. that man should be cannonized. he is a true man, in every sense of the word, he also makes me miss schuman, ALOT. Vanny and i had some snag ups. the italian rail workers were on strike so we had to scramble to find a place to stay in niece. i guess being forced to stay on the french riviera isn't a fate worse than death. that place is beautiful but hyper-americanized so it was a little lame. i had an amazing dinner there followed by some world class gelati! italian women are the most beautiful women in the world. seriously. i have never, NEVER, seen anything like it. italian men are the best dressed in the world. it's insane. on the train, which was overnight (an interesting experience in a couchette) we met an awesome dude named jean. he is a fashion designer who lives in paris but is about to move to rome. we talked art and politics and philosophy and everything. he was an amazing guy. my favorite person i've met yet! he bought vanny and i an expensive dinner at the resturant (which was on the train, odd) and even showed us the best way to navigate the metro to our hostel here when we got off. he even gave us 2 free metro tickets that a friend had given him. he also showed us a scam so that we didn't even have to use them. that dude was awesome and quite fucking win!

i'll post more later, eiffel tower tonight i think. we also found a friend of that dude that stayed at mikeys to put us up for a few days. fucking sweet cuz i'm soo fucking broke.
