well things are getting better. mostly i'm kind of bored. i don't like being second-guessed and/or second-guessing. i don't feel confident enough to go it on my own here. i speak no french and they're not that freindly in the south when you don't. any advice? i went to where vanny will be living today. it's a pretty town. not for me. i'm glad. things like that are starting to make me happy it happened. i'm getting closer to finishing nausea. today i bought women by charles bukowski to supplement it so that i don't end up with no reading to do here. today i read 50 pages of that. it goes too quick. but at least hank chinaski makes me feel better. when i get hom i'm going to be less afraid.
