(no subject)
Here it is, 12:15 in the morning, and a few hours ago I came outside to sit in my garage because it's been too damn hot to sleep. About an hour ago it started to thunder and lightning, and I hoped it would mean a change in the weather but I doubted it. I thought it was just a heat variety. But now, now it's raining and the wind is picking up and I have to say that it's wonderful. It smells so good right now;that scent that the weather is changing. By no means am I in a rush for summer to be over, far from it. But this tiny pause in the hundred plus temperatures is really nice. The earth around these parts lately has been in need of a good scrubbing. This rain should do it.
