Sensitive Ice in Expanded Horizons

Jan 02, 2011 03:49

Expanded Horizons has reprinted my story, Sensitive Ice in their January 2011 issue. It was first published in 2008 in Big Pulp. I've made one change to the story before sending it to EH. The name of the protagonist is now Anyango, a Luo name.

And... my Clarion-buddy Shweta Narayan's poem Cave Smell is in the same issue. It's a brilliant short piece starting, "My mother was a  brown bear..."

There's also a rather good post-apocalyptic epistolatory by Eric del Carlo, called The Last Man on Earth, and a review of a book about Octavia Butler.
