The thing about being the one of the couch-by-the-fire regulars who's job mostly involves hanging out in the bar is that very often, Cuthbert can get there first, and have it all to himself until someone makes him move.

Which no one has yet, this evening, so he's currently sprawled across most of the couch with his hat low, but not so low he can't keep an eye on things from under it.
