Sora was beyond happy to be back in his own comfy bed, with his own comfy things, in his own comfy dorm room. He didn't even bother to close the door behind him as he lunged for his comfy comfy bed

"Oh!" Naminé blushed. "Please don't let me interrupt, then. I can imagine I'd be thrilled to see mine again. Where were you, then? That is, before the sleep-pod."
"Chicago," he shrugged still hugging her. "And man people were mean!!" Sora grumped slumping against Naminé slightly. "It was almost a releif to get put into the pod, which I gotta say the one you had was waaaay more comfortable."
"Shame I couldn't go back in time and perfect the technology for them," she smiled. "People were mean? That's horrible, I'm sorry. I would say something about how I hope you hit them for it, but ... given that it's you, I'm fairly certain you didn't."
"Nah," Sora shook his head. "Some of them seemed to have really good reasons for it. Things didn't seem like they were that good there," he explained. "It was really dirty and everyone seemed really sad. Made me wish I could help them all."
"I'm sure if you had stayed another few weeks, you would have," Naminé laughed. "It seems to just sort of happen around you, that way."
She thought for a moment. "There was ... a lot of fear. People kept disappearing, and then letters came, from the past. Even once we knew what we were fighting, we weren't sure how to stop them; the angels couldn't be destroyed, physically, although many people tried. We ... finally lured the statues into a clearing, and got them all to stare at one another. They freeze when they're observed."
She blushed. "I ... I helped, with that. I teleported someone out, at the endpoint."
She blushed darker, but was beaming. "I ... didn't help much. Just a portal out at the right moment. They can be convenient."
She sat down next to him, smiling. "It's all right, you had no way of knowing the letters would even get through. I ... tried to reach you, with a portal. For some reason it wouldn't work."
"Probably because I was in a different time," Sora pointed out with a shrug and smiled at her. "Thank you for trying though, makes me feel good that you did."

He fell backwards onto the bed and looked up at the ceiling. "I'm glad to be back though and I'd settle for some normal Fandomness for a while."
