Longest weekend ever!
Saturday I left for Chicago.
Sunday I hung out with my grandma and my mom and did some shopping. Then Sunday night I had dinner with Zach downtown and it was so great to see him.
Monday morning got up early drove downtown again for my singing audition. It went really well and I got a call back which I really wasn’t expecting. Did some more celebratory shopping and drove past where I grew up and went to Tasty Dogs for lunch which was a childhood favorite.
Tuesday got to my callback was in the first group to learn the dance and I managed to fall and sprain my ankle about five minutes into learning the dance. So I had to suck it up and learn the rest of the dance and then dance on it for an hour. Needless to say I didn’t manage to pull out the double they wanted! I was really happy with my singing and I was really proud of myself for dancing through the pain because I am a total baby. The audition went from 10-4 which felt like FOREVER but I had fun talking to people and it was an all around good time minus the ankle.
