You're very fortunate, and it sounds like she's been a wonderful mother to you. ...I never knew mine, she died before I was old enough to remember her.

There are portraits of her in the palace, but I think it pains my father to look at them. He says that I have inherited everything good from her.

My mother and I both had blue hair, too. She must have been very beautiful. When I dressed up, for my coming of age ceremony, my father mistook me for her. I wasn't sure what to say, then.

It sounds like you have a lot in common.

It was, but it was sad, too. It was the day I said goodbye to my nakama. I mean, we're reunited now, but... at the time, I thought it was forever.

But that makes it even more special. You were able to choose someone that you really care about to be your mother.

Oh...I never really got a chance to say bye to my friends either.

Well, I actually didn't choose her. We kind of just woke up with odd memories of being a family.
