I'm afraid not as much as the locals who live in this world. I'm from another world as well, and was transported here, somehow...

The one thing to be careful of, even if people say they might be gone, are fruits of a different colour and odd looking nature. They have a bit of a consequence to them like changing gender or age.

Other than that, people here are really friendly and will no doubt do what they can to answer questions for you.
