(no subject)
today someone from one of my flist communities posted something along the lines of the following:
OP: if you dont have a plunger, what is a good way to unclog a toilet?
first responder: do you have a neighbor from whom you can borrow a plunger? do you live in an apartment and can you call maintenance?
OP: none of my family is able to come and help. i flushed chicken noodle soup down it.
me: (in my head) wtf?!?!
me: (posted) please tell me that "chicken noodle soup" is a name for your goldfish.
i checked my email a little while later, and the OP wrote "no, i've flushed stuff before and it was fine. I guess this post is heading to domestic snark." oh, and the best part is that the community post was deleted. makes me wonder if my post was mean enough for her to dirty-delete or...if other people posted "smart" things about going to walmart and picking up a plunger for like a buck fiddy???
