BACK-ON has been compared to Linkin Park, but mainly because they have a singer (KENJI03) and a MC/rapper (TEEDA) like Linkin Park does. Their music style isn't exactly the same, but they are both in the rock genre. This singe does not disappoint! BLAZE LINE and a day dreaming... were used as the opening and ending themes (respectively) of the anime Eyeshield 21. Just as their song Chain (opening of the anime Air Gear) boosted them into the spotlight and brought them to Houston, TX for Anime Matsuri last April, these songs (which were played during their concert in Houston) combine rock and rap effortlessly. BLAZE LINE and EYES are mainly rock with heavy guitar rifts and a good beat, while a day dreaming... is beautifully melodic and calming (it was the song that TEEDA proclaimed "for the ladies" at the concert). I highly recommend this single as well as the rest of BACK-ON's work! Enjoy~~~
