An italian sonnet I wrote for Freshman Studies:

Sitting here on the shelf for all to see
The sinful smile of Devious Sister
Is made blunt by the love of Kind Brother.
An unbreakable bond, grown like a seed
Constructed these years very carefully.
Fragile Sister hopes that he will miss her.
Delicate droplets down pink cheeks help cure
Pain similar to the sting of a bee.
And though I may travel to distant lands
The thought of him remains clear as the sky.
I sit paralyzed, forgetting my plans.
My devious smile slides into a sigh.
I clutch this memory in my clammy hands
Kept safe until I die, until I die...
