1. What did you do in 2004 that you'd never done before?
A few things...got a tattoo, signed on the dole, wore my nurse's uniform (and no it is NOT sexy), went to uni, went to T in The Park blah blah blah

2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions and will you make more for next year?
I don't do New Year's resolutions, I just feel bad when I don't keep them.

3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
No

4. Did anyone close to you die?
Big Tony and Craig from work. Although I was never really really close to either of them, I knew them and had a laugh with them and was gutted when they died. Cried lots at the funerals.

5. What countries did you visit?
England and Holland.

6. What would you like to have in 2005 that you lacked in 2004?
Time, it's all just been disappearing, like sand running through my fingers.

7. What date from 2004 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
That week in May when we went to Amsterdam, think we left on the 26th.

8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Actually getting into uni. My mum was heavy freakin out cause I refused to do the summer school chemistry thing, thank fuck for Clearing.

9. What was your biggest failure?
Failing my driving test 3 times before actually passing, heh. You just got to pick yourself back up and book another one though.

10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
Nah, just wee colds here n there.

11. What was the best thing you bought?
All my cds, I love finding new music. Oh and my T in the Park ticket, those boys would have been lost without me there.

12. Whose behavior merited celebration?
My mum's for putting up wi me, my wee bro and ma dad.

13. Whose behavior made you appalled?
No-one's.

14. Where did most of your money go?
Cds, gigs, drugs, amsterdam.

15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
Amsterdam, T in the Park and Leeds. In particular seeing the Pixies and the Prodigy.

16. What song will always remind you of 2004?
Hotride by the Prodigy.

17. Compared to this time last year, are you:
i. happier or sadder? happier I think, I've got myself on track and I'm really lucky I'm enjoying uni.
ii. thinner or fatter? I've put on 2 pounds, nooooooooo!
iii. richer or poorer? poorer, living off ma bursary now, whereas I used to be getting over £700 a month in wages.

18. What do you wish you'd done more of?
Things for my mum, to help her out around the house n shit.

19. What do you wish you'd done less of?
Wasting time, it's all so precious.

20. How will you be spending Christmas?
With the family, then we've been invited up to Chink n Vicky's.

21. Did you fall in love in 2004?
Was already in love.

22. What was your favorite TV program?
The Simpsons, no-one can beat it.

23. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year?
Nah, in fact I hate the people I hated last year even less. Time does that to you, makes you realise what's important and what isn't.

24. What was the best book you read?
Choke by Chuck Palahniuk.

25. What was your greatest musical discovery of 2004?
Buck 65, Soulwax and 2 Many DJs, anything I heard at the Arches.

26. What did you want and get?
To get into uni.

27. What did you want and not get?
Nothing important.

28. What was your favorite film of this year?
The Incredibles, or Shrek 2.

29. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?
Eh, my birthday's next week, fuck knows what we're doing. Quite fancy a meal wi guthrie.

30. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
If my parents went on holiday more so I could take advantage of the empty house.

31. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2004?
Eh, Joe knows, I started really getting into dresses more this year.

32. What kept you sane?
Guthrie. And when guthrie drives me insane, spoon or ma mum.

33. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most?
Eh no-one...although there's the old favourite of Angelina Jolie.

34. What political issue stirred you the most?
The fact Bush got in again after all his lies. I hate liars.

35. Who did you miss?
Reynolds n Phoebe, there never around anymore.

36. Who was the best new person you met?
The Echobass boys, Vicky, shawzy, the uni girls.

37. Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2004:
Hang on in there, if you make a mistake just chill out and try not to stress. Just do your best.

Sometimes gun crimes blow my mind and Lord knows I try to close my eyes, but it happens so fast I keep my eye on the ball, but still I never asked to be a fly on the wall.
