Wow, simply wow!
So, let's recap. Last weekend was PortCon, that was fun, v. interesting and such, don't think i'll go again, but it was fun enough. BUT, the best part was going out to dinner afterward with a friend and his friend. I met someone. Yup, i finally met someone! AND, because he was going to something that i had an interest in, he obviously has similar interests. Now, not only does he have similar interests, but we have practically the SAME interests. Well, during our dinner, i was v. impressed with his sense of humour, and many other attributes, and so i decided to give him a message on AIM. We hit it off instantly. Despite some drama, we went out on a date, lunch and a movie, which turned into dinner after that, and hours and hours of talking and walking. It was incredible. We spoke on the phone prior to this date for appx 12 hours the night before.
Then we talked all that night on the phone, and until we went out on saturday we talked a LOT. Saturday morning, I went to breakfast with him and his parents... scary, but they were great people! Of course I think his father hated the fact that his son was dating another guy, not in a homophobic way, but in more a "wow, he's dating a guy" kinda way, and was kinda quiet about it, later to find out he didn't want to go in the first place. He opened up a lot during the breakfast, and was so much fun to talk to. His mom is incredible , i gave her flowers, and she made me cookies, they're SO good! I think we're going to have a cookout a weekend soon, which will be fun.
So Saturday afternoon He and I drove back up to Hermon, my brother at my apartment for the weekend, and we three hung out, watching TV and playing video games. This boy and myself read to each other for a while, and just generally snuggled, INCREDIBLE weekend. I just got back from bringing him back home at 8pm. Now i'm doing this entry, and chatting up friends :-) Life can be sweet sometimes!
Ooooh, and bleck! i got a C in Evolutionary Psychology, but at least i passed!!!
