So I found out that I got into San Francisco a week and a half ago, but I just got the letter today. I know that it shouldn't really matter, but it was really nice to just ceremoniously rip open the envelope and read the letter aloud. On the bottom, the teacher wrote in his own writing "Can't wait to see you next year."
So, with the letter, I immediately ran to the Apple store and... I got a laptop today! My very first one... It's a MacBook Pro, and his name is Milo. Alexis (who is staying with me for a few days) thought of it, and it has a double meaning. But I, like the noble Ojibwee that I am, will not tell anyone either of those meaning. That is my culture, and you cannot have it.
