(no subject)
Hey so I haven't updated in a while, and I'm a little bored now, so I decided I might. I don't know if anyone still reads this though...
I have no idea what to write. I don't know what people want to read in these things. I for one skip over most peoples' posts... No one really cares about how someone's day went, or what they had to eat, or what they scored on some online quiz that you post in livejournal, especially cuz they're linked from porn sites... So basically, what is anyone really supposed to talk about? Here's a bit about Richmond. VCU is alright, the parties blow. A lot of people like them, but they're actually terrible... especially after you've lived in and partied in europe. It's really not the same at all. Though I'm taking sophomore classes, they're really easy. I have so much less homework than I did at my high school. It's also very not cool seeing Becca every now and then.
I'm going to this debate tomorrow called Heads vs. Feds. It's the editor of High Times Magazine debating against some guy who worked for the DEA about the legalization of marijuana in the states. Should be interesting.

Good news that doesn't matter to anyone 'cept me. My girlfriend is moving from Sweden to DC for a year on December 10th. So instead of never seeing her, I'll see her once every 3 or 4 weekends.
As a side note, vote. If you don't vote but are registered, then you have no right to complain about who is president and what kind of job they're doing. You have to actually do something about it. Only 48 - 52% of US citizens vote. People take this democracy for granted way too much. Think of other countries who don't have such luxury, and realize how lucky you are to be able to take part in something like this. So if you're registered to vote, do it. Or else, be quiet.
I'm getting my new computer soon. I pretty much doubled my DVD collection since I've been back... spent a lot of money. Of course, all the movies I have rock. So it's ok.
Is anybody going to be in reston for thanksgiving?
