So, here’s a problem for all of you. Lets see if you guys can get this.

So, suppose you have a single die (singular of dice…the fuzzy kind on your rear-view mirror), and roll it three times. Is it more likely/probable to get a total sum of 9 or a total sum of 10? Here’s some background information you can work out yourself.

Rolls with a sum of 9: 1,2,6 1,3,5 1,4,4 2,2,5 2,3,4 3,3,3

Rolls with a sum of 10: 1,3,6 1,4,5 2,4,4 2,3,5 2,4,4 3,3,4

So, which is more likely? Rolling a sum of 9 or a sum of 10? Why? Any takers?
