Double Standard
So, Tim Hardaway, ex Golden State Warrior Great(Is that an oxymoron?) has been removed dismissed from his NBA appearance duties probably for the remainder of his life. The reason? Because Hardaway recently commented that "He Hates Gays' and went on to tell the world about how he can't even imagine sharing a locker room with them and he is just terrified, etc. David Stern said Hardaway's views were "not the views of the NBA' and dismissed him from his duties.
Interesting. Will Kobe Bryant be making an appearance at this weekends all star game? A man who was once on trial for forced sexual assault and confessed to having an affair on his wife?
Will Allen Iverson make the trip?
What about Steven Jackson, who is on trial for a felony offense of firing a loaded weapon in public outside of a nightclub. Will he make it to Vegas? Not to mention, the infamous brawl in Detriot stadium that he participated in.
Should Hardaway be punished? Lets let the public decide. But David Stern should not be trying to walk this fine line.
