Oh man, I love that song. It's so cool how dave manages to put things like that into words. It's such a weird subject, no one really ever acknowledges it, but it happens all the time. Man, I love coming home from school, because it's such a good feeling to get back to the people I know and love. Haha, I talk about how great my friends are every time I post, but I really notice it when they're not here. Anyway, I've been slacking a bit in school... actually, I've been slacking a bit in my life, I've become lazy, but I've decided I'm going to turn that around. I'm going to get all my grades to B's and A's by the end of the semester, I'm going to start taking better care of myself, I'm going to get things in order, because I'm really starting to realize that it's not up to anyone else but me. Man, it's going to be a rough battle, I've become so accustomed to just gliding, I've done it for most of my life, but I have to work now, and I have to apply myself, and it really wont be that hard, I just have to get into the habit. What else... I went to the homecoming game, which was fun, I got to see some people I havent seen in a really long time. I was a bit dissapointed though, because I thought it would be cool to see everyone again, but then I realized that all the people I actually like, I hang out with, so all the other people I didnt really care if I saw them or not. The dance was pretty cool, I mean, it was a dance, so it wasnt spectacular, but I was in good company, so it was alright. Then we went to meri evans' house afterwards, and there was good food, and my friends were there, so it was good. I'm so ready for winter break... 4 weeks of freedom... that'll be so nice, though I know it will be soooo hard to go back to school after that. I'll be too comfortable with my friends at home. Oh well, what can you do?

something to think about: its up to you to make good of your life, not the school you're going to, not the teacher who is "screwing up your grade" nothing but you.
