I heart NY
Well, NYC has come and gone. All in all the entire trip went well, nothing really to comment on. A lot of sales were going on, so I was able to get some shopping in. I really enjoyed the sale at Prada. I snapped my fingers at the worker, it actually worked. Haha. Anyway... let me think about what all I did.
Monday: Yankees game. Ridiculously hot and muggy.
Tuesday: Statue of Liberty, former site of World Trade Center and WICKED. Wicked was amazing. My Mom wants to fly up in August to see it since my sister and I have been raving about it to her. I am just sad it wasn't the original cast. I am excited though, because if we do fly up to NYC it will remind me of my childhood and all of the weekend trip experiences. I miss those.
Wednesday: Museum of Modern Art, Museum of Sex. Learning experience. I did get to see early porns... Hmmm... I also was able to see some Warhol's and some Picasso's.
Thursday: Retail fun. I did some damage at Burberry, Tiffany, and Prada. I am really getting good at keeping my overall spending down and just purchasing goods that are of some importance. The ring from Tiffany will increase in value. The Prada tie was in the ad (and 50% off). The Burberry sweater is cashmere and it was part of the ads too. I also went to Soho and saw some really cool things. We went to What Comes Around Goes Around (vintage shop). There I found a Madonna concert tee for my sister. Ohhh... Chinatown... scary place.
Friday: Rain and delays.
I am excited to go back to NYC. I think I will go back after Warped Tour. By that time, Abercrombie flagship should be open on 5th!!!
