I'm moving up in the world! Instead of being a mere Engineering minion, I am now a "warp-core-minion-in-training". It's pretty rewarding work and not to sound like a snob or something, but I think I have a talent for it or something. This is going to make me sound like the freak I truly am...but you can actually tune the core, like an instrument.
I was born possessing perfect pitch, so whenever I hum a B-flat...the core resonates it. If I hum it loud enough, it'll actually fill the room. Any song in the key of F will make it resonate too. It almost sounds like the ship is singing. But I'm just a weirdo like that, I guess. For some reason, I can hear music in just about anything.
Still haven't fully processed everything yet and my sleep patterns are starting to get off. I looked up some things in the ship's library and I'm kinda afraid I might have a touch of depression. I don't need this right now! Things are going so well otherwise and I just need to suck it up and get on with things.
I put the music library on shuffle and it produced this song. It's pretty fitting right now.
