Bowling over the Competition
So today was actually an ok day. No spanish test (score), and the presentations in class were actually mildly interesting. Econ test was rather easy, (and I really hope I didn't get any multiple choice wrong, or else Sharkey might take away my "Most improved skier of the year" award). And then in the evening I went bowling with the German Austauschschüler, which was completely Toll und es hat Spaß gemacht. The night started off slow, with mildly good bowling all around. Things really kicked into gear during out last game, where Herr Care (aka Spare Care) and I faced off for the final death match. I won (muahahaha) with a total score of 159. I think that might even be my personal best (and it was also the highest score anyone got all night.) It was totally great. I think Herr Care/Frau Prebish said they'd buy me ein grosses Stück Schokolade when we're in Deutschland. Yay.
It was actually really funny watching Herr Care bowl. He was really competitive about it and everything, and we would do these crazy dances (Kegelntanz?) when he got a strike or picked up the spare. It was really funny. I think Herr Care is ten times better out of class than he is in class. And since he's already great in class, I can't wait to spend 2 weeks with him in Germany. And everyone else in the group seems really nice too. It's going to be a fun time. Herr Care and I decided that we need to go bowling more often. Maybe we'll start a club or something. We can set up some pins down by the chior room at the end of E hall, and bowl from there. Shrugy. Yeah, but we totally need to go out bowling more often. It's really fun, (especially when you're doing well). I think that once we get into college (like two weeks away!), we should institute some Friday game day/hangout type thing. Just an idea.
So now I better get all ready and packed up for science olympiad tomorrow. I've got to shower and then read up on some thermodynamics so Mike Chow doesn't kill me. Bis später...
