I bought a mattress yesterday for my apartment at Rooms To Go. They had a sale, so I took advantage of it, but it still haunts me why a mattress could cost so much. This whole apartment ordeal has given me a reality check. I received my first electric bill a few days ago, and I'm afraid to turn on the lights now. I think I'm going to rely on the sunlight during the daytime and live in darkness at night. I'm glad the water is included in the rent, because I can at least take a comfortable shower without worrying about the water bill.
I also realized that I'm going to be driving a lot more now. I filled up the tank on Friday, and today, I only have half a tank left. At least gas is cheaper in Atlanta than Miami. Sometimes, the thought of driving a hybrid crosses my mind, but then I take a look at my car, and I forget about gas prices.
