question: when you get put on hold, why does the hold music never work? it's always really static-y or contantly cuts out, not to mention being shitty music in general. if i ever jump on the capitalism bandwagon, that's how i'm going to fulfill my american dream--starting a hold music service. i would play a lot of madonna for whatever christian hotlines request my services. rod stewart for the home shopping network,
there is this guy who lives in indianapolis who got paid a shitload of money (he's got BILLIONS) for developing voice mail for businesses. he didn't even invent the idea... he just made it a lot more useable for businesses. he made enough billions to donate 2 million to his kids' provate school specifically to install heated floors in the preschool department. his company now makes bourgie products for people with too much money, like a 2000 dvd player changer. i'd like to know what all these rich people do with the 2000 dvd boxes once they have put them into the 2000 dvd changer, because i thought part of the reason people spent so much money on dvds was to collect the box as well. also, i wonder if you could put regular cds into the 2000 dvd changer and if it would be able to read the difference as quickly as i would expect from a 2000 dvd changer.
among my frivolous unnecessary purchases from when i reap the benefits of my own ungenious semi-invention:
-i would buy a kid from all 192 countries so that i could beat angelina jolie at her own game
-build a botanical garden the size of the one in dc in my house
-build a huge treehouse in south america to occasionally retreat to
-buy one of those manmade autonomous islands to try my hand at totalitarian dictatorship
-buy a bunch of flag things to put up all over central park and call "art." mine would be lime green, though.
i guess i would also pay back my college loans. but not without defaulting on them multiple times just out of spite. i'd have enough money to do something entirely principle based like that.
