I was recently interviewed for the website Hardcore Nerdity's podcast on Women in comics (characters and creators). It sounds like I was a lot more positive about things than some of my fellow interviewees (Jenn Stewart and Ty Templeton) were.

I do agree that they just aren't flocking to superhero comics published by Marvel and/or DC --- but isn't that representative of the type of material that those companies strive to create? I do think that good comics transcend any gender likes/dislikes - but how many good comics are published by Marvel and/or DC on a given month?
