fragment 08: audio/action

[keusrai]

[Anyone who's in the forest in the afternoon might happen to notice a blue crystal statue. ...Except it's not a statue. It's Keusrai, back from his mallynapping; his clothes are torn and stained with blue liquid, and his entire body seems to be crystallized. He's walking very slowly and carefully.]

[After a while, he pulls out his journal and starts

[voice] size doesn't matter, right?

[sun_trumpet]

[is actually somewhere in the forest]

Where are you?

[voice] nope, just what you do with it /SHOT

[keusrai]

[T-that voice. It sounds so... friendly and helpful.]

I'm not quite sure. Um... look for something shiny and blue. That's me.

(ooc: What gender is Salt? I'm not quite sure. |D;)

[voice] Salt's a boy... about 15 cm tall and now around 11 yrs old... ^^;;

[sun_trumpet]

Shiny and blue? You're in the forest, right?

[starts flying around to look for you!]

[voice]

[keusrai]

[Eventually, Keu's going to notice the little yellow thing flying around. His first reaction is to squee over how cute the li'l fairy guy is, but thankfully he mostly restrains that and just waves.]

Is that you from the journals? I'm - I'm over here!

[voice]

[sun_trumpet]

[And Salt smiles happily when he sees him and hurries over]

It's me! I'm Salt! It's so nice to finally see you?

[whoops make that action]

[keusrai]

I'm glad to see you too, Salt. [He pauses for just a moment, looking a bit awkward.] I'm - I'm Keusrai. Thanks so much for coming all the way out here for me.

[action]

[sun_trumpet]

No problem, Keusrai!

What happened to you though... why are you... all blue?

sorry D: d-do you still want to continue?

[keusrai]

Oh, this? [Chuckle.] It's what happens when I get hurt. It'll wear off in a week or so, but until then... Well, I could use some healing if you can do that, Salt.

Mn! Let's continue!

[sun_trumpet]

Really? That's so cool!! Oh, I don't have any healing magic... sorry.

[keusrai]

C... cool? Really? Well, thanks! [Nervous laughter.] ...Salt, do you think you could please watch over me while I try to get to the clinic?

[sun_trumpet]

Yup! It's very cool! Sure! [and sitting on your shoulder]

[keusrai]

[Somehow, the presence of the little fairy on his shoulder is very comforting. He feels safe, even in his current state. He's going to start walking, albeit slowly and carefully, but he feels happy enough to start humming a little tune.]

[sun_trumpet]

What song is that?

[keusrai]

[He actually has to stop and think about that one, though he's still walking.] ...I'm pretty sure it was a song by someone from Windsgate, my hometown. I think it was meant to be played on a flute or something like it.

[sun_trumpet]

[nods] I have a friend who plays the piccolo. And I play the trumpet!

[keusrai]

Really? I bet you two could play this song really well. I'll see if I can get you some sheet music for it later!
