Housemates: Would you be interested in the splitting the cost of this spin dryer? It claims it saves electricity and is easier on clothes, but the big selling point for me right now is that it'd be venting less humid air into the basement.

I've been searching for a review of this spinner too. I wonder if there is a warranty and about getting repairs on this.

There is a one year warrantee. Spin dryers are all pretty much the same, they just spin at a fast speed to extract a lot of water. It is an old, proven technology that's been around about as long as the washing machine. They are looked at as a new gadget in the USA but are very common in Europe and other places.
