On the Wiki article for
acupuncture, it states at the end of
this section, "Positive results from some studies on the efficacy of acupuncture may be as a result of poorly designed studies or publication bias."
Um, wouldn't that be true for negative study results, as well? The results of any study could be determined by how well the study was or was not designed, as well as by publication bias, n'est-ce pas?
As such, wouldn't the statement in this article be biased against acupuncture?
Anyone feel like editing it? I am neither registered on Wiki, nor do I have the time to make edits. I should be finishing dinner preparation while the boy naps his too-late-in-the-day nap. (grr)
And as a related side note: does anyone local have acupuncturist recommendations?
