PDA woes
The screen on optimystik's Treo is ded. A little pouka dropped it one too many times. Ahem.
So instead of buying a completely new PDA (totally unaffordable at this point), he purchased a new screen and the appropriate tools to switch bad screen with new, good screen.
Got package from post office today; worked on it this evening after dinner.
Result? After following this tutorial, he had a working screen. Yay! But then he realised that the touch pad wasn't working. Uh-oh.
So he took it apart about 6 more times, all with varying results of one thing working and the other thing not. It now seems to be stuck on touch pad working and screen not (last three tries).
Do any of you know how to get BOTH working at the same time? Any suggestions?
