Fluevog presents The "Do You Really Need New Shoes?" Sale
If you really do need new shoes because the only pair of flats you have are older than the dirt they leave toe-prints in, then there's never been a better time to buy! At up to 60% off, you'd have to look pretty hard to do wrong*. On the other hand, if you feel it's our near-capacity Planet (or your spouse) asking the question, by all means bring in your old wearable shoes, any brand, give them to the staff at any Fluevog Store and we'll donate them to some suitably deserving soles.

Wondering about the difference between AutoShare and Zipcar? Here's an exhaustive and insightful comparison of the two: Torontoist: The Car Sharing Shootout: Autoshare vs. Zipcar [link courtesy a locked post]

Were I going to join up (and I've been thinking about it), I'd go with AutoShare. It's based in Toronto (as opposed to Massachusetts) and the perks appeal to my practical side: you can build up your car insurance record, if ever you decide to purchase a car for yourself in the future and need your own insurance; can't do that with Zipcar. Plus, they offer discounts with various bike shops, the permit street parking system, and select condos; and has partnerships with "Smartliving St. Lawrence, the Car Heaven vehicle donation program, EasyRelease, AllianceAtlantis Cinemas, and the Inside Out Film & Video Festival." They also have partnerships with several of the big-name car rental businesses around town (Budget, Discount, Enterprise, etc.).
