Finally! All Moved!
It took from Friday, two weekends ago, to Sunday of this weekend past to get Lynx's office switched with our bedroom. Two coats of primer and two coats of paint, plus some Ivar staining (which isn't finished yet!), and a whole lot of moving of furniture later, we are nicely situated in different, much better rooms.
It was a lot of work, moving within one's own home.
I LOVE that I have a bedroom I feel comfortable in now. I finally feel like I have my own space. It's very exciting. I also love that Lynx is in the other room where she can't hear the downstairs neighbours' hip-hop music all day long, thumping underneath her feet, driving her absolutely insane every single day. She gets lots and lots of natural light now and has a fair bit more room to spread out (which will be a blessing and a curse). Feng shui-wise we're each in better positions, too. Lynx now works in the wealth corner, which is very happy-making, especially since good things have already started to happen.
And I finally got my computer plugged back in this afternoon, so I can log on and download the 740 messages (98% of which is spam) that have accumulated since last Thursday.
Needless to say, I haven't been checking LJ at all in the past week. If there's anything you want me to check out, lemme know.
