Miko update
This is such a good idea.
Miko vomited today, so she is undergoing exploratory surgery at 9am. I don't like this waiting business. I don't like the stasis she's been in for the past week. I really hope they're able to find out what's wrong with her and be able to cure it quickly. Or, alternatively, give me enough reason to let her go. I'm really anxious about it all, as I'm sure you can imagine.
She purred for me today. I was there for about an hour and she purred for me in the last five minutes. It made me SO HAPPY to hear it and feel it as I held her head in my hands. I very much wish for my little baby to come back home soon all healthy. Dr. Toole is a good good man and a really good vet. I highly recommend him.
As soon as Kiska and Miko have fully recovered, and we've been able to stabilize a little more financially, we're going to take our other two into him for very overdue check-ups. Please, Universe, let nothing bad happen in the mean time. Let us get everyone insured before more shit hits the fan.
Sooo tired of pet and financial stress. Looking forward to easier times ahead.
