I feel out of sorts.
This morning, Amber (I think it was her) peed on my clothes that were left in N's room. When I took a good look at what clothes got hit, I noted that it was the exact outfit that I wore when we put Bastian down.

They're soaking in vinegar now.

I have a cold. I haven't been sick for a couple of months, so I'm not too peeved. It was expected: a weekend of indulgence with tonnes of sugar, plus emotional stress and little sleep. That's not the best recipe for an impenetrable immune system. Right now, it's a mild sore throat that is annoying only when I swallow. We're out of vitamin C.

I want more house plants:
a jade plant for the living room
bamboo in the bathroom
two shade-loving somethings for each of the bedrooms
I want to repot our aloe plant and separate the two offspring from the main plant and figure out how to effectively repot the main plant so that it doesn't fall over. It's weird looking.

We forgot to put out the recycling last night. We're drowning in cardboard boxes that need to be torn down, stacked and tied. I should do something about that beyond noting that it needs to be done.
