oh yeah, by the way....
oh yeah, sorta forgot to tell ya'll my sister had her twins. Hunter and Fenix. They were born last Sunday at 5:23 AM (Hunter) and 5:25 AM (Fenix) via C-section. So i have new nephews. Sadly though, Hunter isn't doing too well. He has an infection in his bowels that was causing him to bleed and not be able to digest his food :( and it can be fatal so we're pretty worried about him. But Fenix; who ironically was the smaller and weaker of the two at birth is doing great! I got to hold him for the first time yesterday -and feed him at the same time that consisted of holding up a vial of breast milk above my head so it could leak down a tube through his nose and into his stomach. very uncomfortable. but he was soooo cute! he was looking around and staring at me; and i just talked to him the whole time and he seemed just enraptured by it all. it was great. he even gave me this sorta half smile. very cute.
so yeah, we're worried about Hunter.
uh... o.0 i get two days off (Tue. and Wed.). that's about the extent of my life right now. short of trying to get rid of this stupid anvil that has dropped atop my muse and cut off all creative circulation between me and him. (my muse is a male, shush).
and... uh... ... ... oh! i'm reading Rob Thurman right now; he wrote a book called Nightlife last year and book two just came out -so thought i'd finally get to reading the book. OH. MY. GOSH! It's hullarious! it's so sarcastic! it's in first-person so you get to hear this kid's thoughts, and i just laugh! I've already read almost the entire book and it's only been four days! it's crazy! this is the first book in quite a while that i've felt like it was so easy to read! i really don't feel like i've read that much of the book. but it's great! it's sorta this modern fairy-tale; where the kid is half elf and his half-brother is full human; and the elves are evil and they are chasing after them after blowing up their trailor home and setting his dead-beat mother on fire and then dragging the kid into their world where they tortured him for two years (at least they think it was two years, to the older brother it was only 2 days) and... just go read it. it's great! there's even an evil creature under the brooklyn bridge, the older brother is the body guard to a vampire, and Robin Goodfellow is in the book! Goodfellow is now my favorite mythological character because he's a used car sellsman ;) awe, yes, ya'll must read. it's sarcastic, lude, and of course brotherly love that makes me snicker everytime when i think of Nik jumping the table to beat the crap out of Cal for flinging a soggy piece of Life cereal into his face. awe. family.
i know that was random and probably made no sense, but it's great! go read it!
hmm, yeah, i'm done. though i just got an update on Hunter, he's doing better but he's being sedated because of the pain in his belly ;.; he's hurting so much; so i hope he gets better soon.
and yes. my sister and her new husband really picked out the name Fenix. and yes, they meant to spell it that way... -.- gah, that poor kid is sooooooo going to get picked on in school.
