okay; i really need did intend to live up to my new years resolution and write in this sucker daily, not monthly. oi. oh well. that's me for ya. procrastinating like tomorrow will come. hee ;)
not much has happened. it was my birthday a few weeks ago... Jan. 25th. not much happened. i finally ate at an Olive Garden... i got WII sports... and my dad paid off my credit card bill as a birthday present. ... ironically i had just sent in the payment to pay it off ^-^`` so i guess you could say i got a $250 dollar credit. wee!
.... ... i got sick last week... ... i feel like i'm going to die hacking my lungs up. If ya'll have seen Fullmetal Alchemist: Conqueror of Shambala; the part where Alfonse Hiedrich is coughing and then looks at his hand and sees all the blood he just hacked up -that's how i feel. like i'm about ready to wrech a lung up. ouch. but that's okay. i've gotten off work for the last three days, yay!
so what did I do with my days off and sick pay? I watched Anime of course. I watched every movie i haven't watched yet. so I will now critic them... Get Backers looks very promising and i like that for once the anime acknowledges that the quiet dude IS the star of the show, not the side-kick who everyone ends up liking better than the main character. (anyone else notice that happens in Animes a lot too? that the side-kicks are more well-liked than the heroes?)
anyway... Trinity Blood four was brilliant! oh my gosh! i love the new character -the kid is the voice of Alphonse Elric from FMA and the character is so full and rich! and he's got a lil' crush on one of the nuns that is soooooo cute! i squeed when he blushed. it was just so adorable ^-^ and he kicks butt too! he isn't a pansy, he's this vampire kid that kicks butt, has heart, is learning tolerence towards the 'terrians' and he's promising as far as character depth in the future. it was sooo nice!
Steamboy was okay, i'll probably watch it again now knowing what to look for and enjoy it, but i'll have to get back to you on that one, it's definately one i'll have to watch several times before i have an opinion on it. but it's BEAUTIFUL visual-wise and the dubbed version isn't bad either. though i wanted to smack Scarlett. Gah! she's a brat! i don't care of she relates to Gone With The Wind Scarlett O'Hara, she was a brat and i wanted to toss her off the side of the steam castle after the first two minutes. gah!
Bleach is awesome so far. i like the idea and i like how it's been going so far; i'm just nervous it might turn into an Inuyasha where it's just week after week of the same thing and gaining an inch even as they slide back a foot so they are really going nowhere... but at the same time i think it'll surprise me. we'll see ^-^ but i love the action, i love the main character, he's actually very well concieved, and the Death Reavers coming after them is a nice touch. ^-^
gah, here i go again with the coughing... it just won't go away! ;.; oh yeah, i found a website that has EARLY scanlations and translations of the Fullmetal Alchemist manga series! *squees and bounces* it's soooo cool! i can't believe where the manga is going! chapter 68 is supposed to be coming out in a few days; i can't wait! I do believe i love the Fruit Tree Alchemists http://www.zomgfta.com/ now because they are the ones who do the scanlations/translations for the series. and they do it very well! if yer a fan i recommend it ;)
oh, Kino's Journey, that was a really... i don't know. it's weird... that show was good yet nothing really happened... but it was like... i couldn't stop watching it even if i was ordered too. It's only 13 episodes long and... i'm serious, nothing of significance happens in it, but it was still really good. i think it was episodes 6 and 7 were the only ones that had any real plot where you were nervous as to if she'd win or lose and one of the other chars had a motive as to what he was doing what he was doing... it's weird. i liked it, yet i can't honestly say it was the best i'd ever seen. it was slow, but it was still intresting.
i'll be getting Full Metal Panic! soon, so i'll tell ya what that's like later.
ull... i coughed so hard yesterday i pulled something in my back. crazy, but true.
um... yeah, not much else has happened. i've gotten a lot of reading done too while sick. sadly not much writing; but oh well o.0` today was really the first day i was able to coherently write out a few pages without re-reading it and going 'huh? is that a word?'
and short of wanting to get the new Nora Jones CD and maybe a 3 Doors Down cd, i'm pretty good...
OH!! the new Harry Potter #7 was announced! July 21st is the official release date unless changed otherwise. *Grins* HP and The Deathly Hollows. yeah. i'm thinkin' Harry dies in this one ;) heh. i still think he's the last horocrux and also for Rowling to have a complete end (where she won't have people bugging her for the rest of her life if she could write 'just one more' book, she'd have to kill him; with a note to the readers saying "HE IS DEAD!!!!") type of thing. but that's my theory for #7; and also, i'm thinkin' Sirius comes back ^-^ wee! that'd be nice. he, Lupin, and Tonks are my favorite chars. heehee
okay; i'm done, i'll leave my weird update and go cough so more while watching Superman: Lois and Clark season 4.
