(no subject)
I was pretty happy with the turn out last night, almost a sell out show so that's always a good sign. One more thing to tick off the list of thing's to get done. Now I've got the massive attic show next saturday to worry about. Exciting..and yet kind of scary, I can't get my head around the logistics.
Finally tomorrow I am getting a new phone since I ever so smartly dropped mine point blank in my bosses drink last weekend.
Oh and I also had to JMC academy open day yesterday and I am just bubbling with excitement and anticipation to get started on my course there. I've got to go through an interview first etc but God has just planned things out for me so wonderfully its amazing. It turns out if I start in July I fast track and begin next year with the 2nd yr students. So it means that doing my adv dip in events for the first half of this year was not a waste of time and oh so worthwhile. I could have sat there and listened/talked to the head of the music business management teacher all day, I just love that stuff it's funny, he has been everywhere from major record companies to touring in an old school metal rock'nroll band. He's even got the awesome old mans guns'n'roses type hair!
Having decided on starting at JMC in July, I also decided I need to start looking for a new job in the city. I'm goingto feel bad job hunting behind the people at Mambo's back considering I've been there a year now and Adams left etc. But I have no reason to be working in Manly anymore, it's way to far away to trek each time without the excuse of going to tafe in brookevale.
I love that its nearly 4pm and I am still in my jammies :)
