random fandomy stuff
So first topic for today: thanks to naatz, I now have my very own account at AO3. So if you like that site, you should be able to catch my stuff there, as well.
I have to admit, as a fanfic hosting site, it's looking AMAZING. You can really tell it was put together by people who know fandom. The tagging system is very advanced and versatile, and you can do fun stuff like list coauthors, whether a fic is part of a series, use different pseudonyms that link back to the same account, and even bookmark fics from outside sources.
So far I've uploaded my oldish Ed/Win fic, A Matter of Style.
AO3 is looking very, very shiny ♥ shame there's not much FMA there yet.
Second topic. I have a serious confession. Very, very serious.
I CANNOT READ DOUJINSHI BY VALIANT.
Whenever they draw Ed, his hair looks like it's made of metal spikes. And no matter what he's doing, it always falls in the same direction! He could be hanging upside-down, and his hair would still fall spikily to his chin!!!!
It is distracting. Extremely so. The few times I've looked at doujinshi of that circle, I spent the entire time staring at Ed's hair, trying to see if it actually moved at all. I think once I saw it move two degrees down. But maybe that was just an accident.
